Taking place in 1983, Red is a lumberjack who lives in a secluded cabin in the woods. His artist girlfriend Mandy spends her days reading fantasy paperbacks. Then one day, she catches the eye of a crazed cult leader, who conjures a group of motorcycle-riding demons to kidnap her. Red, armed with a crossbow and custom Axe, stops at nothing to get her back, leaving a bloody, brutal pile of bodies in his wake. Written by texasboyy Mandy is a 2018 English-language Action Horror movie starring Nicolas Cage, Andrea Riseborough, Linus Roache, Ned Dennehy, Olwen Fou R, Richard Brake and Paul Painter. SpectreVision in association with Umedia and XYZ Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Josh C. Waller, Daniel Noah, Elijah Wood, Adrian Politowski, Martin Metz and Nate Bolotin. The movie is directed by Panos Cosmatos. RLJE Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mandy was released on 13th September 2018 and takes a screen time of 121 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. The movie made a box office gross of $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Panos Cosmatos and Aaron Stewart-Ahn. Cinematography was done by Benjamin Loeb and editing by Brett W. Bachman. The music was composed by J Hann J Hannsson.
