Mama

After a tragic car accident, two young girls are taken in by their uncle and his girlfriend, but they soon discover that the girls have been haunted by a vengeful entity known as Mama who is determined to keep them as her own. Mama is a 2013 English-language Horror Thriller motion picture starring Jessica Chastain, Nikolaj Coster-waldau, Megan Charpentier, Isabelle Nélisse, Daniel Kash, Javier Botet and Kevin Kirkham. The movie is inspired from Mam by Andy Muschietti. Toma 78 in association with De Milo Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Barbara Muschietti and J. Miles Dale. Mama is written by Andres Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti and Neil Cross and it is directed by Andres Muschietti and Andy Muschietti. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Mama was released on 8th February 2013 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. Mama was made on a budget of $15 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Neil Cross, Andy Muschietti and Barbara Muschietti. Cinematography was done by Antonio Riestra and editing by Michelle Conroi. The music was composed by Fernando Velázquez along with Fernando Vel Zquez.
