The film tells the story of Ahammadali Sulaiman, a town godfather who is arrested at the airport before his pilgrimage and is later targeted for assassination by the police, who manipulate a juvenile to carry out the task, while also exploring themes of religious tensions, political manipulation, and the repercussions of violence. Malik is a 2021 Indian Malayalam-language Thriller Action movie featuring Fahadh Faasil, Joju George, Divya Prabha, Nimisha Sajayan, Dileesh Pothan, Parvathi Malaa and Chandhu Nair. Anto Joseph Film Company was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anto Joseph. The movie is written and directed by Mahesh Narayanan. Amazon Prime Video acquired the distribution rights for the film. Malik was released on 15th July 2021 and takes a screen time of 162 minutes. Malik was made on a budget of ₹27 crore.
