A recently discharged Major, finds himself commanding a group of mismatched Cadets. Major Payne is a 1995 American English-language Adventure Comedy film featuring Damon Wayans, Karyn Parsons, Michael Ironside, Scott Bigelow, Joseph Blaire, Orlando Brown and Chax Stern. The movie is based on The Private War of Major Benson by Joe Connelly and Bob Mosher. Wife n Kids Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Eric L. Gold and Michael Rachmil. Major Payne is written by Joe Connelly, Bob Mosher, William Roberts, Richard Alan Simmons, Dean Lorey, Damon Wayans and Gary Rosen and it is directed by Nick Castle. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. Major Payne was released on 24th March 1995 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The film made a box office gross of $30 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by William Roberts and Richard Alan Simmons. Cinematography was done by Richard Bowen and editing by Patrick Kennedy. The music was composed by Craig Safan.

One kids fat, ones deaf, ones a suck up, and one has big ears, so you know this stinker (based upon 1955s The Private War of Major Benson) is supposed to be a comedy.But instead, its an unmitigated nightmare of crude, boorish tripe and woe unto our nations future if kids find it hilarious.
