Mahabharati

Mahabharti is a powerful Indian Bengali film that follows the idealistic journey of Sushobhan Roy and Bharati Som as they overcome obstacles to establish a factory promoting unity in post-partition India, with Bharati eventually sacrificing her life for their vision, continuing to inspire others in their movement for a more egalitarian society. Mahabharati is a 1994 Indian Bengali-language Drama motion picture featuring Prosenjit Chatterjee, Dev, Abir Chatterjee, Indraneil Sengupta, Parambrata Chatterjee, Saket Bandyopadhyay and Ramen Roy Chowdhuri. Shree Venkatesh Films was the production house involved in the project. Mahabharati is written by Amar Bhattacharya and Kashiram Das In Bengali Originally Written By Vyasdeb In Sanskrit and it is directed by Amar Bhattacharya and Kamaleshwar Mukherjee. Shree Venkatesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Mahabharati was released on 1st January 1994 and takes a screen time of 180 minutes. Editing was done by MD. Kalam. The music was composed by Salil Choudhury along with Indraadip Dasgupta.
