The film Madam Chief Minister tells the story of Tara, a determined lower caste woman who overcomes discrimination to become the youngest Chief Minister in her states history, but faces challenges from within her party, other political parties, the media, and also deals with the complexities of Indian politics, including caste influence and corruption, as well as navigating her relationship with a boyfriend from a higher caste and confronting gender-based obstacles in positions of power. Madam Chief Minister is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language Drama film featuring Richa Chadda, Manav Kaul, Saurabh Shukla, Akshay Oberoi, Tulika Banerjee, Lajjawati Mishra and Mukteshwara Ojha. Madam Chief Minister was Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Naren Kumar and Dimple Kharbanda. The film is written and directed by Subhash Kapoor. AA Films acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Madam Chief Minister was released on 22nd January 2021 and takes a screen time of 122 minutes. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹5 lakh. Cinematography was done by Jayesh Nair and editing by Chandrashekhar Prajapati. The music was composed by Mangesh Dhakde.
