In a dystopian Australia, Max Rockatansky, a member of the MFP, seeks revenge against a motorbike gang after they terrorize the town, kill his partner, and murder his wife and son. Mad Max is a 1979 English-language Action Adventure film featuring Mel Gibson, Joanne Samuel, Hugh Keays-byrne, Steve Bisley, Tim Burns, Roger Ward and Harry Peerce. Kennedy Miller Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Byron Kennedy. Mad Max is written by James Mccausland, George Miller and Byron Kennedy and it is directed by George Miller. Roadshow Film Distributors acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Creators of the movie include George Miller and Byron Kennedy. Mad Max was released on 12th April 1979 and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released. Mad Max was made on a budget of $350 billion and at the box office it grossed only $8 million. The music was composed by Brian May.
