A newly appointed district collector in Andhra Pradesh takes on a local politician with dubious connections, cracking down on his criminal misdeeds despite facing threats and intimidation, and earns the respect of the locals. Sreshth Movies was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sudhakar Reddy and Nikitha Reddy. The film is written and directed by M. S. Rajashekhar Reddy. Macherla Niyojakavargam was released on 12th August 2022 and takes a screen time of 159 minutes. The movie made a box office gross of ₹15 crore. Cinematography was done by Prasad Murella and editing by Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao. The music was composed by Swara Sagar Mahathi.
