Machha

Aloko Udapadi is a Sri Lankan film about two friends who fake being the Sri Lanka National Handball Team to escape to the West but are forced to play the game, with a subplot about an aspiring police officer. Machha is a 2009 Kannada-language film starring Dharmapriya Dias, Gihan De Chickera, Darshan Dharmaraj, Namal Jayasinghe, Sujeewa Priyalal and Mahendra Perera. Redgrave Films in association with RAI Cinema, Baselberg Films and Shakthi Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Uberto Pasolini, Conchita Airoldi, Henning Molfenter and Prasanna Vithanage. Machha is written by Ruwanthie De Chickera and Uberto Pasolini and it is directed by Uberto Pasolini. UGC acquired the distribution rights for the movie. The motion picture has a running time of 109 minutes. Machha was made on a budget of €5 million. Cinematography was done by Stefano Falivene and editing by Masahiro Hirakubo. The music was composed by Lakshman Joseph De Saram along with Stephen Warbeck.
