Luk ting kei

A witty bard named Wai Siu-bo becomes the apprentice of the leader of the Heaven and Earth Society, and after infiltrating the palace, he befriends the Princess and Emperor, defeats the Emperor in a fight, and is appointed as a spy to keep watch over the head eunuch and a seditious General, engaging in a romantic encounter with the Princess, accidentally injuring the head eunuch, subsequently dealing with the seditious General with the help of the Empress, and eventually being promoted to a duke after saving the palace from an assault orchestrated by Chan Kan-nam, but the false Empress vows revenge. Luk ting kei is a 1992 Mandarin-language Action Comedy movie featuring Stephen Chow, Sharla Cheung, Ng Man-tat, Natalis Chan, Sandra Ng, Chingmy Yau and Szu-ying Chien. Win s Movie Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Stephen Shiu and Jimmy Heung. The movie is directed by Wong Jing. Golden Harvest acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Luk ting kei was released on 30th July 1992 and takes a screen time of 110 minutes.
