Lucy

A young American student named Lucy becomes a drug mule after getting involved with a dangerous drug lord in Taipei, but the drugs inside her accidentally enhance her physical and mental abilities, allowing her to escape her captors and seek assistance in removing the drugs; as Lucy acquires new powers such as telepathy and telekinesis, she teams up with a scientist in Paris and a police captain to find the remaining drugs, experiencing a physical disintegration which she halts by consuming more of the substance, eventually transforming into a supercomputer and embarking on a journey through time, ultimately reaching the dawn of humanity before her brain reaches its maximum capacity and she disappears, leaving behind her clothes and the supercomputer while Del Rio avenges her by killing the drug lord and Norman retrieves a flash drive, with Lucys voice expressing the purpose of life. Lucy is a 2014 English-language Action Sci-Fi film featuring Scarlett Johansson, Morgan Freeman, Choi Min-sik, Amr Waked, Min-sik Choi, Julian Rhind-tutt and Kishan Kumar Jha. EuropaCorp in association with TF1 Films Production, Canal+, Cin + and TF1. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Luc Besson and Virginie Besson-silla. The motion picture is written and directed by Luc Besson. EuropaCorp Distribution acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Lucy was released on 8th August 2014 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Lucy was made on a budget of $40 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $463 million. Cinematography was done by Thierry Arbogast and editing by Julien Rey. The music was composed by Ric Serra.
