Love Jacked

A young woman named Maya falls in love with a man named Mtumbie in South Africa, but breaks off the engagement when she catches him cheating, leading her to ask a Canadian pool hustler named Malcolm to pretend to be Mtumbie to gain her fathers approval, and as Malcolm spends time with Maya and her family, he helps her father with a studio, bonds with them over painting, and assists Maya with wedding preparations, but trouble arises when Malcolms dangerous partner Tyrell discovers him and demands his share of a previous hustle, leading Malcolm to plan to fake his own death to protect Maya, until the real Mtumbie and Malcolm both show up, and Maya and Malcolm confess their love for each other. Love Jacked is a 2018 English-language Comedy Romance film starring Amber Stevens West, Shamier Anderson, Keith David, Lyriq Bent, Mike Epps, Marla Gibbs and Rameez Nordien. Inner City Films was the production house involved in the project. Love Jacked is written by Robert Adetuyi and Linda Eskeland and it is directed by Alfons Adetuyi. Love Jacked was released on 1st August 2017 and takes a screen time of 100 minutes. Cinematography was done by Lance Gewer and editing by Lisa di Michele. The music was composed by Steve London.
