Little Women

The March sisters in Concord, Massachusetts experience the challenges of growing up during the American Civil War, their mother guides them in their absence of their father, they find joy in performing plays and develop relationships with their neighbor and his grandson, face illness, loss, and love, and Jo becomes a writer and marries Friedrich Bhaer while Meg marries John Brooke, and after Beths death, Laurie and Amy return as a married couple and Jo inherits Aunt Marchs house and turns it into a school where she and Bhaer reconcile and get engaged. Little Women is a 1994 American English-language Drama Romance film starring Winona Ryder, Gabriel Byrne, Trini Alvarado, Samantha Mathis, Kirsten Dunst, Claire Danes and Heather Feeney. The movie is based on Little Women 1868 novel by Louisa May Alcott. DiNovi Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Denise Di Novi. Little Women is written by Louisa May Alcott and Robin Swicord and it is directed by Gillian Armstrong. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Little Women was released on 8th August 1995 and takes a screen time of 119 minutes. and it received positive reviews from critics when it was released.
