In Chapter One, the protagonist Henry and his therapist Dr. Cait Morris are introduced, but it is later revealed that this is part of a script written by Will, who has been seeing Cait since leaving a psychiatric hospital, where he tells her about his wife Abbys traumatic past and how he blames himself for her death after she was struck by a bus while pregnant. Chapter Two focuses on Dylan, Will and Abbys daughter, who imagines her mothers final moments and sees a young boy asking if she is okay. Chapter Three shifts the focus to the Gonzalez family in Spain, particularly Javier, who works for Vincent Saccione and becomes jealous of Sacciones relationship with his wife and son. Chapter Four follows Rodrigos life in NYC, including starting a relationship, visiting his dying mother, and encountering Dylan. Chapter Five is narrated by Elena, Dylan and Rodrigos daughter, reflecting on her parents meeting and the impact it has had on her life, concluding with a clip of Will admiring a pregnant Abby. Life Itself is a 2018 American English-language Drama Romance movie featuring Oscar Isaac, Olivia Wilde, Mandy Patinkin, Olivia Cooke, Laia Costa, Annette Bening and Hannah Wood. Life Itself was Produced by Aaron Ryder, Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and Dan Fogelman. The movie is written and directed by Dan Fogelman. Amazon Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Life Itself was released on 6th December 2018 and takes a screen time of 117 minutes. Life Itself was made on a budget of $10 million and at the box office it grossed only $7 million. Cinematography was done by Brett Pawlak and editing by Julie Monroe. The music was composed by Federico Jusid.
