Columbia Pictures in association with Skydance Media. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Bonnie Curtis, Dana Goldberg, David Ellison and Julie Lynn. Life is written by Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Bonnie Curtis, Vicki Dee Rock, Lisa Dennis, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Julie Lynn and Josh Robertson and it is directed by Daniel Espinosa. Sony Pictures Releasing acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Life was released on 23rd March 2017 and takes a screen time of 104 minutes. Life was made on a budget of $80 million and at the box office it grossed only $1 million. Cinematography was done by Seamus McGarvey and editing by Frances Parker and Mary Jo Markey. The music was composed by Jon Ekstrand.
