James Bond goes rogue and sets off to unleash vengeance on a drug lord who tortured his best friend, a C.I.A. agent, and left him for dead and murdered his bride after he helped capture him. Licence to Kill is a 1989 English-language Action Adventure motion picture starring Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell, Robert Davi, Benicio Del Toro, Talisa Soto, Anthony Zerbe and Victor Jones. The movie is based on James Bond by Ian Fleming. Eon Productions in association with United Artists. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Michael J. Wilson, Albert R. Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. Licence to Kill is written by Michael J. Wilson, Michael G. Wilson, Richard Maibaum and Ian Fleming and it is directed by John Glen. MGM/UA Communications Co. acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Licence to Kill was released on 7th July 1989 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Licence to Kill was made on a budget of $32 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $156 million. Cinematography was done by Alec Mills and editing by John Grover. The music was composed by Michael Kamen.
