Les Misérables is a 1998 English-language Crime Drama film featuring Liam Neeson, Geoffrey Rush, Uma Thurman, Claire Danes, Hans Matheson, Reine Brynolfsson and Libor Zídek. The movie is based on Les Mis rables by Victor Hugo. Les Misérables was Produced by James Gorman and Sarah Radclyffe. Les Misérables is written by Victor Hugo and Rafael Yglesias and it is directed by Bille August. Columbia Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Les Misérables was released on 11th July 1999 and takes a screen time of 134 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Les Misérables was made on a budget of $61 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $442 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Rafael Yglesias. Cinematography was done by J rgen Persson and editing by Janus Billeskov-Jansen. The music was composed by Basil Poledouris.
