Lav Kush

Lord Rama exiles Sita after his reputation is put at risk due to her year-long stay in Lanka, but she is rescued by Valmiki and gives birth to twin sons who later reunite with their parents. Lav Kush is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language Adventure Drama film featuring Jaya Prada, Master Adil, Beena Banerjee, Aditi Chatterji, Chumi Chatterji, Jayshree Gadkar and Tiku Talsania. The movie is inspired from Valmiki Uttar Ramayan. Devyank Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Dilip Kanikaria. Lav Kush is written by Bhring Tupkaria and Dev Kohli and it is directed by V. Madhusudan Rao and V. Madhusudhana Rao. Lav Kush was released on 25th July 1997 and takes a screen time of 165 minutes. Lav Kush was made on a budget of ₹5 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹43 lakh. Cinematography was done by K. S. Prakash Rao and editing by K. Vijaya Babu. The music was composed by Vijay Patil along with Raamlaxman.
