Two separate stories set during summer vacations examine the intricacies of friendships and relationships, showcasing the extremes people will go to in order to maintain their desired connections, resulting in violent and life-altering consequences. Last Summer is a 1969 American Turkish-language Drama film featuring Barbara Hershey, Richard Thomas, Bruce Davison, Catherine Burns, Ernesto Gonzalez, Conrad Bain and Lydia Wilen. The movie is inspired from Last Summer by Evan Hunter. Alsid Productions was the production house involved in the project. Last Summer is written by Eleanor Perry and directed by Frank Perry. Allied Artists acquired the distribution rights for the film. Last Summer was released on 6th November 1969 and takes a screen time of 97 minutes. Cinematography was done by Enrique Bravo and Gerald Hirschfeld and editing by Sidney Katz and Marion Kraft. The music was composed by John Simon.
