Lamhe

A young man named Viren falls in love with Pallavi in Rajasthan, but they are separated by her marriage and tragic death, until he meets her daughter Pooja twenty years later and eventually they get married and live happily in London. Lamhe is a 1991 Hindi-language Drama Musical motion picture featuring Anil Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Anupam Kher, Sridevi Kapoor, Deepak Malhotra, Lalit Tiwari and Richa Pallod. Lamhe was Produced by Aditya Chopra, Yash Chopra and T. Subbarami Reddy. Lamhe is written by Honey Irani, Rahi Masoom Reza and Rahi Masoom Raza and it is directed by Yash Chopra. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Lamhe was released on 22nd November 1991 and takes a screen time of 187 minutes. The film made a box office gross of ₹2050 crore. Cinematography was done by Manmohan Singh. The music was composed by Hariprasad Chaurasia along with Shiv Kumar Sharma and Shiv-hari. At the 1992 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Costume Design.
