A Hollywood star returns to Spain in the 1950s to shoot a movie about Queen Isabella I of Castile, which takes place after the events of The Girl of Your Dreams. La reina de España is a 2016 Spanish Spanish-language Comedy Drama movie featuring Pen Lope Cruz, Antonio Resines, Neus Asensi, Ana Bel N, Javier C Mara, Chino Dar N and Alessandro Bianchi. La reina de España was Produced by Mikel Lejarza, Penélope Cruz, Pen Lope Cruz, Anne Deluz, Cristina Huete and Judit Stalter. The film is written and directed by Fernando Trueba. Universal Pictures acquired the distribution rights for the film. La reina de España was released on 25th November 2016. Cinematography was done by Jos Luis Alcaine and editing by Marta Velasco. The music was composed by Zbigniew Preisner.
