John Paul, also known as Marpappa, lives with his mother in Karuvatta, Alappuzha, where he meets and falls in love with Jessy, the daughter of the Panchayat president, but their relationship ends when Jessy receives a marriage proposal from a wealthy fashion photographer named Peter and discovers his true profession as an erotic photographer, leading to a chain of secrets being revealed, John marrying Jessys sister Annie, and the truth about their mothers involvement in the situation being exposed. Kuttanadan Marpappa is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language Comedy Drama film starring Kunchacko Boban, Surabhi Santosh, Aditi Ravi, Shantikrishna, Innocent Vareed Thekkethala, Salim Kumar and Sibi Thomas. Malayalam Movie Makers in association with Achicha Cinemas. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Haseeb Haneef, Aji Medayil and Noushad Alathur. The motion picture is written and directed by Sreejith Vijayan. Raha International acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kuttanadan Marpappa was released on 29th March 2018. The motion picture made a box office gross of ₹20 crore. Cinematography was done by Arvind Krishna and editing by Sunil S. Pillai. The music was composed by Rahul Raj along with Lyrics, Rajeev Alunkal and Vinayak Sasikumar.
