An illiterate man named Kandasamy seeks to send his son to a prestigious school, so he convinces an educated woman named Saraswati to pretend to be his sons mother, hoping to fulfill his own fathers dying wish of ensuring his grandsons education, but their ruse is threatened when Saraswatis lover and Kandasamys wife discover the truth.
