Krantikaal

A film set in Northeast India explores the impact of terrorism on peoples lives and the ability to overcome differences to find common ground through the tension and mutual self-discovery between a militant seeking refuge in a mansion and its occupants. Krantikaal is a 2005 Bengali-language Drama movie featuring Silajit Majumder, Roopa Ganguly, Soumitra Chatterjee, Haradhan Bandopadhyay, Rupa Ganguly, Haradhan Bannerjee and Chhabi Talukdar. Krantikaal was Produced by Shampa Bhattacharjee. Krantikaal is written by Shekhar Das and Prafulla Roy and it is directed by Shekhar Das and Sekhar Das. Krantikaal was released on 1st January 2005. Cinematography was done by Premendu Bikash Chaki and editing by Debkanta Chakraborty. The music was composed by Chirodip Dasgupta. At the 2005 National Film Awards It won an award for Best Feature Film in Bengali. At the 2005 National Film Awards It also won an award for Best Supporting Actor (Haradhan Bandopadhyay).
