A woman named Gauri is manipulated into marriage with an imposter by an evil man named Raja, who later imprisons and tortures her until she is abducted and saved by an ex-lover of Rajas. Koyla is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Ravi Kapoor, Anwar Khan and Rakesh Roshan and it is directed by Rakesh Roshan. Yash Raj Films acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture.
