When her cop father is killed, a young woman tracks the murder with the help of his ex-partner. Kite is a 2014 English-language Action Crime movie featuring India Eisley, Callan Mcauliffe, Samuel L. Jackson, Jaco Muller, Annabel Linder, Christina Storm and Jonathan Blaine Shore. The movie is inspired from Kite by Yasuomi Umetsu. Videovision Entertainment in association with Distant Horizon and Detalle Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Anant Singh, Brian Cox and Mois S Cos O. Kite is written by Yasuomi Umetsu and Brian Cox and it is directed by Ralph Ziman. Anchor Bay Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Kite was released on 13th June 2014 and takes a screen time of 90 minutes. Kite was made on a budget of ₹82 crore and at the box office it grossed only $2 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Brian Cox. Cinematography was done by Lance Gewer and editing by Megan Gill. The music was composed by Paul Hepker.
