Kitaab

A young boy lives with his sister away from his mother to study in school. However, he is neither fond of the school nor his new home and decides to run away to be with his mother. Kitaab is a 1977 Indian Hindi-language Drama movie starring Master Raju, Master Tito, Uttam Kumar, Vidya Sinha, Dina Pathak, Shreeram Lagoo and Master Lucky. The movie is based on Pathik by Samaresh Basu. Kitaab was Produced by Pranlal V. Mehta, Gulzar Kalra and Pranlal Mehta. Kitaab is written by Bhushan Banmali, Samaresh Basu, Gulzar Kalra and Debabrata Sengupta and it is directed by Gulzar Kalra. Kitaab was released on 31st December 1977. Cinematography was done by M. Sampat. The music was composed by Rahul Dev Burman along with R. D. Burman and Gulzar.
