Kismat

A man impregnates a woman who refuses to have an abortion and leaves their baby in an orphanage, but years later, the woman adopts the child with her new husband not knowing that he works for the biological father who has returned from abroad and is involved in criminal activities. Kismat is a 1995 Indian Hindi-language Musical Family film starring Govinda, Mamta Kulkarni, Vikas Anand, Aparajita, Govardhan Asrani, Kabir Bedi and Naushaad Abbas. Eastern Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Harmesh Malhotra. Kismat is written by Anwar Khan and directed by Harmesh Malhotra. Kismat was released on 29th May 1995. Kismat was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Shyam Shiposkar and editing by Govind Dalwadi. The music was composed by Anand Milind.
