A young witch named Kiki and her talking cat embark on a journey to a port city where she hopes to find a home and start a business, but after facing challenges and losing her abilities, she regains her confidence with the help of her new friends and continues her delivery service. Kikis Delivery Service is a 1989 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Adventure motion picture featuring Minami Takayama, Rei Sakuma, Kappei Yamaguchi, Keiko Toda, Mieko Nobusawa, Kôichi Miura and Russi Taylor. The movie is based on Kiki s Delivery Service by Eiko Kadono. Studio Ghibli was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Hayao Miyazaki. The movie is directed by Hayao Miyazaki. Toei Company acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kikis Delivery Service was released on 29th July 1989 and takes a screen time of 103 minutes. Kikis Delivery Service was made on a budget of ₹80 crore and at the box office it grossed only $41 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Hayao Miyazaki.
