Amar, a rich and stubborn college student, falls in love with Lekha, a poor but happy and straightforward girl, and after facing opposition from his father due to their status difference, they get married but soon discover that Lekha has leukemia. Khwahish is written by Govind Menon and Shashi Wadia and it is directed by Govind Menon. Mojdeh & Mojtaba Movies acquired the distribution rights for the film. Khwahish was released on 6th June 2003 and takes a screen time of 152 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Khwahish was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore. Cinematography was done by Uday Devare and editing by Anand Subbaya. The music was composed by Milind Sagar along with D. Imman.
