A love story where two people meet in college, but their egos prevent them from expressing their feelings until they are reunited years later. Khushi is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language Action Drama film featuring Fardeen Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amrish Puri, Amitabh Bachchan, Beena Banerjee and Neeraj Vora. The movie is based on Kushi. Narsimha Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Surinder Kapoor and Boney Kapoor. Khushi is written by Aman Jaffery, Bolu Khan and Surya S.j. and it is directed by Surya S.j., Sunil Agarwal and Sunil Kumar Agrawal. Shemaroo Entertainment acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Khushi was released on 7th February 2003. Khushi was made on a budget of ₹9 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹9 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by S. J. Surya. Cinematography was done by K. V. Guhan and editing by Merzin Tavaria. The music was composed by National Award winner Anu Malik.
