Khushboo

The story follows the emotional journey of Kusum and Vrindavan who were separated by circumstances but eventually reunite with the help of their families. Khushboo is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language Musical Drama movie starring Hema Malini, Jeetendra Kapoor, Durga Khote, Farida Jalal, Chandrima Bhaduri, Sarika Thakur and Sharmila Tagore. The movie is based on novel Panditmashai by Sharat Chandra Chattopadhyay. Tirupati Pictures was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Prasan Kapoor and Jeetendra. Khushboo is written by Bhushan Banmali and Gulzar Kalra and it is directed by Gulzar Kalra. Khushboo was released on 8th May 1975 and takes a screen time of 133 minutes. Khushboo was made on a budget of ₹2 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹13 lakh. The screenplay for the movie was written by Gulzar, D.N. Mukherjee and Bhushan Banmali.
