Khuda Haafiz

An action thriller film Khuda Haafiz follows Sameer Chaudhary, a young man who races against time to rescue his kidnapped wife Nargis from flesh traders. The film stars Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi in the lead role with Annu Kapoor, Aahana Kumra, and Shiv Pandit in supporting roles. The film was produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak for Panorama Studios and was distributed by Disney+ Hotstar. The film was written and directed by Faruk Kabir. The film's shooting commenced near Uzbekistan on 14 October 2019 and it was inspired by true events that occurred during the financial crisis of 2007–2008. The music was composed by Mithoon and the lyrics were written by Mithoon and Sayeed Quadri. Adept cinematography by Jitan Harmeet Singh and clear cut editing by Sandeep Francis makes it a watchable movie. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this movie which was scheduled to release in theatres is being released on Disney+ Hotstar from 14 August 2020.
