Pen Studios acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Khiladi was released on 5th March 1992 and takes a screen time of 154 minutes. Khiladi was made on a budget of ₹60 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹15 crore. Cinematography was done by Sujith Vaassudev and G.K.Vishnu and editing by Amar Reddy Kudumula. The music was composed by Devi Sri Prasad.
