Khela is a film about a director struggling to balance his ambition to make a movie with the perfect child actor and his wifes desire for a baby, ultimately leading him to rediscover his inner child through his bond with a talented child. Khela is a 2008 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama motion picture starring Prasenjit, Manisha Koirala, Raima Sen, Akashneel Dutta Mukhopadhyay, Haradhan Bannerjee, Manish Bhattacharya and Rajeev Seal. Pretty River Productions in association with LLC and It s a Laugh Productions. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Rituparno Ghosh. Khela is written by Rituparno Ghosh and Hasan Kamal and it is directed by Rituparno Ghosh. Disney-ABC Domestic Television acquired the distribution rights for the film. Khela was released on 11th July 2008. Cinematography was done by Avik Mukhopadhyay and editing by Arghyakamal Mitra. The music was composed by Raja Narayan Deb along with Sanjoy Das.
