SLB Films was the production house involved in the project. Khamoshi: The Musical is written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Sutapa Sikdar and it is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. 20th Century Fox acquired the distribution rights for the movie. Khamoshi: The Musical was released on 9th August 1996 and takes a screen time of 160 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Khamoshi: The Musical was made on a budget of ₹6 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹14 crore. Cinematography was done by Anil Mehta and editing by Kenneth Phillips and Bela Segal.
