A boy named Rahul has a strained relationship with don Pashupathi due to a biased perception caused by his mothers death, which his classmate Ajay manipulates, but they need to resolve their lack of communication and understanding before it leads to disastrous consequences for both of them and their loved ones. Kenchaa is a 2009 Indian Kannada-language Romance film featuring Prajwal Devaraj, Pragna, Bullet Babu, Hmt Ramesh Babu, Bharath Bhagavathar, Bhavya and Ma Thejaswini. Cinemalaya in association with Quantum Films. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramesh Yadav. Kenchaa is written by Pn Sathya and directed by Sathya Prabhas Pinisetty, Pn Sathya and P N Sathya. Star Cinema acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kenchaa was released on 10th July 2009. Cinematography was done by P L Ravee and editing by M Varman. The music was composed by Rajesh Ramanath.
