Karz was Produced by Akhtar Farooqui and Jagjit Khurana. Karz is written by Sachin Bhowmick, Rahi Masoom Reza and Dr. Rahi Masoom Reza and it is directed by Subhash Ghai. Mukta Arts Ltd. acquired the distribution rights for the film. Karz was released on 11th June 1980 and takes a screen time of 157 mins. The Film was successful at box office. Karz was made on a budget of ₹1 crore and it was a super hit at box office gross of ₹3 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sachin Bhowmick.
