14-year-old Arrietty and the rest of the Clock family live in peaceful anonymity as they make their own home from items that they borrow from the house s human inhabitants. However, life changes for the Clocks when a human boy discovers Arrietty. Written by ANN Kari-gurashi no Arietti is a 2010 Japanese Japanese-language Animation Adventure film starring Mirai Shida, Ryunosuke Kamiki, Shinobu Otake, Keiko Takeshita, Tatsuya Fujiwara, Tomokazu Miura and Shinobu Ôtake. The movie is inspired from The Borrowers by Mary Norton. Studio Ghibli was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Toshio Suzuki. The movie is directed by Hiromasa Yonebayashi. Toho acquired the distribution rights for the motion picture. Kari-gurashi no Arietti was released on 28th January 2011 and takes a screen time of 95 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Kari-gurashi no Arietti was made on a budget of $23 million and it was a super hit at box office gross of $146 million. The screenplay for the movie was written by Hayao Miyazaki and Keiko Niwa.
