Kanteerava

A boy who is raised by a family in Bangalore develops a strong bond with his father figure, but faces a difficult decision when he must choose between his devotion to a mentally challenged girl and his arranged marriage to his father figures granddaughter. Kanteerava is a 2011 Indian Kannada-language Drama motion picture starring Duniya Vijay, Shuba Poonja, Rishika Singh, Shubha Poonja, Rahul Dev, Srinivasa Murthy and Satyajith. The movie is inspired from Simhadri by V. Vijayendra Prasad. Ramu Enterprises was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Ramu. Kanteerava is written by S. S. Rajamouli and directed by Tushar Ranganath. Kanteerava was released on 21st January 2011 and takes a screen time of 148 minutes. Cinematography was done by Dasari Srinivasa Rao and editing by T. Shashikumar and Deepu S. Kumar. The music was composed by Chakri.
