Kantara - A Legend

A king encounters a deity and donates land in exchange for a holy stone, but when his descendant tries to reclaim the land years later, mysterious deaths occur, leading a forest officer to convert the land into a reserve, causing conflict with Shiva who is possessed by the deity and falls in love with a forest guard, ultimately leading to a battle where Shiva kills the descendants manipulative actions and later disappears into the forest. Kantara - A Legend is a 2022 Indian Malayalam-language Adventure Drama motion picture starring Rishab Shetty, Sapthami Gowda, Achyuth Kumar, Pramod Shetty, Deepak Rai Panaje, Ragu Pandeshwar and Ugramm Ravi. Hombale Films was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Vijay Kiragandur. The film is written and directed by Rishab Shetty. KRG Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. The film has a running time of 148 minutes. Cinematography was done by Arvind S. Kashyap and editing by K. M. Prakash and Pratheek Shetty. The music was composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath.
