Kansas Pacific

A film set during the Civil War period revolving around the construction of a railroad across Kansas to the West Coast and the efforts to prevent sabotage by sympathizers of the South, while the project is led by Captain John Nelson who finds romance with the daughter of the railroad foreman. Kansas Pacific is a 1953 American English-language Western motion picture starring Sterling Hayden, Eve Miller, Barton Maclane, Harry Shannon, Tom Fadden, Reed Hadley and William Mccarter. Walter Wanger Productions was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Walter Wanger and Edward Morey Jr. Kansas Pacific is written by Daniel B. Ullman and directed by Ray Nazarro. Allied Artists Pictures Corporation acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kansas Pacific was released on 22nd February 1953 and takes a screen time of 73 minutes. Cinematography was done by Harry Neumann and editing by William Austin and Walter Hannemann.
