Paramasivams eldest son, Vetrivel, sacrifices his love for Gowri and helps arrange his brother Subramanis marriage to her, but their relationship becomes complicated when a worker reveals that Vetrivel and Gowris relationship isnt legitimate, ultimately leading to a rift between the brothers until it is revealed that Vetrivel is actually the son of a wealthy man in the village and is able to marry Rasathi while also gaining Gowris fathers approval.
