Kandahar

An educated unemployed man joins the Indian Army and along with Major Mahadevan, prevents a terrorist hijack of an Air India flight resulting in a heros funeral for the fallen soldier. Kandahar is a 2010 Indian Malayalam-language Action Drama movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, Ganesh Venkatraman, Ragini Dwivedi, Mohanlal Viswanathan, Sumalatha Ambarish, Anoop Chandran and Malavika Nair Ammu. Zoe Estebe Moviez in association with Pranavam Arts International. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Mohanlal Viswanathan and Sunil C. Nair. Kandahar is written by Vikram Biswas, Subir Kumar Das, Anup Dev, Johnston Fernandes, Baylon Fonseca and Major Ravi and it is directed by Major Ravi. Maxlab Cinemas and Entertainments acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kandahar was released on 16th December 2010 and takes a screen time of 142 minutes. Cinematography was done by Ravi Varman and Velraj and editing by Don Max. The music was composed by Shamir Tandon along with Vivek V. K.
