Kalyug

A family is forced to leave Kashmir due to terrorism, but tragedy strikes when the father dies and the son must take care of a woman named Renuka; their lives are shattered when their private moment is leaked online, leading to Renukas testimony against the son, her subsequent suicide, the sons wrongful imprisonment, and his quest for justice and revenge, ultimately finding closure and starting a new life. Kalyug is a 2005 Indian Hindi-language Action Crime movie starring Emraan Hashmi, Kunal Khemu, Smiley Suri, Deepal Shaw, Amrita Singh, Ashutosh Rana and Rammy C. Pandey. Kalyug was Produced by Mukesh Bhatt and Mahesh Bhatt. Kalyug is written by Jay Dixit, Anand Sivakumaran and Mohit Suri and it is directed by Mohit Suri. Vishesh Films acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kalyug was released on 9th December 2005 and takes a screen time of 126 minutes. The Film was successful at box office. Kalyug was made on a budget of ₹4 crore and it was a hit at box office gross of ₹7 crore. Cinematography was done by Rituraj Narain and editing by Amit Saxena. The music was composed by Anu Malik along with Faizal Rafi & Rohail Hyat, Jal, Mithoon and Raju Singh.
