Kahaani 2 is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language Mystery Thriller film starring Vidya Balan, Arjun Rampal, Jugal Hansraj, Kharaj Mukherjee, Tota Roy Choudhury, Naisha Khanna and Pritha Debmoulik. Boundscript Motion Pictures in association with Pen India Limited. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Sujoy Ghosh and Kushal Gada. Kahaani 2 is written by Sujoy Ghosh, Suresh Nair and Ritesh Shah and it is directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Pen India Limited acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kahaani 2 was released on 1st December 2016 and takes a screen time of 128 minutes. Kahaani 2 was made on a budget of ₹33 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹32 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Sujoy Ghosh. Cinematography was done by Tapan Basu and editing by Namrata Rao. The music was composed by Clinton Cerejo.
