Kaanchi is a 2014 Indian Hindi-language Drama Musical motion picture starring Kartik Aaryan, Rishi Kapoor, Mithun Chakraborty, Mishti Chakraborthy, Sahil Vaid, Chaitanya Chinchlikar and Shakti Mohan. Mukta Arts was the production house involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Subhash Ghai. The movie is written and directed by Subhash Ghai. White Hill Studios acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kaanchi was released on 24th April 2014 and takes a screen time of 140 minutes. Kaanchi was made on a budget of ₹24 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹3 crore. Cinematography was done by Tushar Kanti Ray and editing by Aarif Sheikh. The music was composed by Sulaiman Merchant along with Salim Merchant, Subhash Ghai, Ismail Darbar, Salim Sulaiman and Simaab Sen.
