Kaagaz is an upcoming biographical drama film based on the true story of farmer Lal Biharis struggle to prove he is alive after being falsely declared dead on government records, and his formation of the Mritak Sangh to help others in his situation. Kaagaz is a 2021 Indian Hindi-language Biography Comedy film starring Pankaj Tripathi, Monal Gajjar, Amar Upadhyay, Tina Ahuja, Lankesh Bhardwaj, Zeel Thacker and Deependra Singh. Salman Khan Films in association with The Satish Kaushik Entertainment Production. were the production houses involved in the project along with executive producer(s) Karan Johar, Salman Khan, Zeel Thacker, Nishant Kaushik and Vikas Malu. Kaagaz is written by Ansuman Bhagat, Imtiaz Hussain and Satish Kaushik and it is directed by Satish Kaushik and Zeel Thacker. ZEE5 acquired the distribution rights for the film. Kaagaz was released on 7th January 2021. The music was composed by Pravesh Mallick.
