Kaafila

A woman named Kalpana defies her parents by pursuing a romantic relationship with a man named Shekar, and the couple faces opposition from a rival student group when Shekar tries to groom her as the new student body president, leading to Kalpana disappearing and a friend of Shekars being found dead wearing his raincoat, causing political tension and fear in the community. Kaafila is a 1990 Indian Hindi-language Drama Thriller film starring Sunny Deol, Amitoj Mann, Sana Nawaz, Sara Loren, Sadashiv Amrapurkar, Joy Augustine and Raj Zutshi. Kaafila was Produced by Kamaljit Sandhu and Poornima Bhattacharya. Kaafila is written by Varun Gautam and Ammtoje Mann and it is directed by Amitoj Maan. Kaafila was released on 1st January 1990. Kaafila was made on a budget of ₹17 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹2 crore. Cinematography was done by Nazir Khan and editing by Tirupati Reddy. The music was composed by Sukhwinder Singh.
