Junglee

Upon his return from London, Shekhar takes his sister away to Kashmir to forget her employee lover, falls in love with Rajkumari, but realizes his mother wants him to marry from an aristocratic family, and eventually returns to his familys home as a more carefree man and accepting of his sisters secret marriage to her lover. Junglee is a 1961 Indian Hindi-language Comedy Drama film featuring Shammi Kapoor, Saira Banu, Shashi Kala, Anoop Kumar, Lalita Pawar, Azra and Shinde. Junglee was Produced by Subodh Mukherji and Subodh Mukherjee. Junglee is written by Agha Jani Kashmiri, Subodh Mukherji and Agha Jani and it is directed by Subodh Mukherji and Subodh Mukherjee. Junglee was released on 31st October 1961 and takes a screen time of 150 minutes. Junglee was made on a budget of ₹46 crore and at the box office it grossed only ₹22 crore. The screenplay for the movie was written by Subodh Mukherjee. Cinematography was done by N. V. Srinivas and editing by V. K. Naik. The music was composed by Shankar Jaikishan.
